Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g pasta (macaroni)
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 2 can/n tomatoes, pizza tomatoes à 400 g
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp honey, liquid
- 1 tsp chili paste or hot pepper paste (also called sambal oelek)
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- salt and pepper
- 2 balls of mozzarella
- Paprika powder
- Cayenne pepper
- oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
with spicy tomato sauce and tender mozzarella – super quick
Cook the macaroni in salted water according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and garlic, sauté briefly in a little oil, and deglaze with the pizza tomatoes. Add the tomato paste, honey, and seasoning paste and simmer for a few minutes. Then slice the spring onions and stir in. Season the sauce with salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, and a few herbs, such as parsley and basil, if desired. Dice the mozzarella. Place the macaroni in a large bowl, mix with the hot sauce and the mozzarella, allowing the mozzarella to melt slightly. Serve immediately.
