Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 turkey schnitzels or pork schnitzels
  • 2 cups crème fraîche with herbs
  • 400 g mushrooms, fresh or from a jar
  • 500 g grapes, seedless, white
  • 4 slice(s) cheese (young Gouda, large slices)
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Wash the mushrooms and grapes. Halve the grapes and slice the mushrooms. Sauté the fresh mushrooms first. Let them cool completely. Then mix the grapes with the crème fraîche and the cooled mushrooms. Set aside. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Season the turkey schnitzels well with salt, pepper, and paprika. Brown them well in oil and place them side by side in a baking dish. Spread the crème fraîche mixture evenly over all the schnitzels to ensure they are all covered. Then place the cheese slices on top. Place the baking dish in the oven and let the cheese bake for about 10 minutes. French fries, baked potatoes, hash browns, salad, or pasta make excellent side dishes.
