Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g meat (pork or poultry), shredded
- 1 can of mushrooms
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 1 liter vegetable broth
- 1 bay leaf
- 3 grains of allspice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp flour
- 100 ml white wine
- lemon juice
- salt and pepper
- oil
- 100 g cheese, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Brown the meat strips in a little oil, add the onions and fry until light golden, pour in the stock, add the allspice and bay leaves, and simmer for a few minutes, then strain and reserve the stock. Make a roux from the butter and flour, stir in the stock, and simmer for a few minutes. Pour in the white wine and season the sauce with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Add the meat and mushrooms to the sauce and season again to taste. Divide among 4 ovenproof dishes, sprinkle with the cheese, and bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) until the cheese is melted and lightly browned. Serve with toasted bread.
