Seefeld Shards
The perfect seefeld shards recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Pc. Egg yolk
- 1 Pc. Egg
- 1 tbsp Sour cream
- 30 g Sugar
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 270 g Flour
- Fat for deep-frying
- Powdered sugar
- Mix eggs, sugar and sour cream. Gradually add the flour and cinnamon and work the dough together slightly.
- Chill the finished dough for 30 minutes. Then roll out the dough very thinly. Cut “lozenges” with a pastry wheel. These are “nudged” a few times with the fork.
- Bake in the frying oil, drain on kitchen paper and then dust with powdered sugar in a bowl.
