Semolina casserole with fruit

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g mirabelle plums OR:
  • 500 g pineapple, sliced ​​(from the can)
  • ½ liter of milk
  • Salt
  • 125 g semolina (wheat semolina)
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla flavor
  • 3 tbsp milk, cold
  • 75 g butter
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Drain the mirabelle plums or pineapple slices and reserve the juice (cut the pineapple into pieces). Bring 1/2 liter of milk with salt to a boil. Stir the semolina into the milk taken off the heat and let it stand to swell. Mix the custard powder with the cold milk. Cream the butter until fluffy, then gradually stir in the sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, baking powder, and the still-warm semolina porridge with the custard powder. Fold in the fruit. Transfer everything to a greased baking dish, cover, and place in a cold oven. Top/bottom heat 200-220 degrees, fan oven 180-200 degrees, gas mark 4-5. Baking time: 45 minutes.
