Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 375 ml milk
- 100 ml cream
- 50 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 20 g butter
- 135 g semolina (durum wheat semolina)
- possibly sugar and cinnamon
- possibly fruit
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
with sugar and cinnamon or fruit
Heat the milk, cream, sugar, and salt. Add the butter and bring to a boil. Sprinkle in the semolina and let it cook briefly again. The dough should form a thick consistency. Roll out on a smooth surface to a thickness of about 1 cm and let it cool. When the semolina dough is cold, fry it in butter until golden brown. It tastes best with sugar and cinnamon or fruit.
