Seppioline in white wine

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g squid(s) (seppioline), cleaned
  • olive oil
  • ½ onion(s), finely diced
  • ½ tsp tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • 150 ml white wine
  • 3 garlic cloves, diced
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • some lemon juice
  • some paprika powder
  • some chili powder
  • some Tabasco, smoked

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Dry the ready-to-cook cuttlefish thoroughly. Then cut into strips or pieces and fry in a very small amount of olive oil. When the fish are browned, add the onion and season. Then deglaze with the white wine. Add the garlic, tomato paste, and parsley and simmer for 20 minutes. Add more wine if desired. Finally, drizzle with a few drops of lemon juice and olive oil, and season again to taste. Sprinkle with some parsley and serve. Serve with toasted flatbread or ciabatta bread. This is a great starter for four people.
