Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 75 g fig(s), dried
  • 75 g nuts of your choice, e.g., cashews
  • 40 g desiccated coconut
  • 1 tbsp date syrup
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • some sesame, white or black

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Chop the figs into small pieces and blend them with the nuts and desiccated coconut in a blender. Add the date syrup, tahini, vanilla, salt, and lemon juice and blend again. Using wet hands, form the mixture into 12 balls and roll them in sesame seeds. Let the balls set in the refrigerator for 15 minutes and enjoy. These sesame fig energy balls contain approximately 450 kcal per serving.
