Sesame Shrimp Toast

The perfect sesame shrimp toast recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 160 ml Pineapple fruit juice
  • 80 ml Rice vinegar
  • 75 ml Sugar brown
  • 3 tsp Tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Cornmeal
  • 300 g Shrimp peeled deveined
  • 50 g Spring onion
  • 1 tbsp Fresh ginger
  • 1 Pc. Protein
  • 3 tbsp Sesame
  • Salt
  • Toast
  1. Bring the pineapple juice, rice vinegar, brown sugar, tomato ketchup and soy sauce to the boil in a coated saucepan or pan.
  2. Mix 1 teaspoon corn flour with 1 teaspoon water and stir into the sauce.
  3. Puree the shrimp, spring onions, ginger, egg white and 1 teaspoon cornmeal in a blender to form an even paste.
  4. Brush the toast with the shrimp paste and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  5. Now let the toast simmer briefly in the sauce. The sauce should be about a finger high in the pan.
