Sesame Shrimp Toast
The perfect sesame shrimp toast recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 160 ml Pineapple fruit juice
- 80 ml Rice vinegar
- 75 ml Sugar brown
- 3 tsp Tomato ketchup
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 2 tsp Cornmeal
- 300 g Shrimp peeled deveined
- 50 g Spring onion
- 1 tbsp Fresh ginger
- 1 Pc. Protein
- 3 tbsp Sesame
- Salt
- Toast
- Bring the pineapple juice, rice vinegar, brown sugar, tomato ketchup and soy sauce to the boil in a coated saucepan or pan.
- Mix 1 teaspoon corn flour with 1 teaspoon water and stir into the sauce.
- Puree the shrimp, spring onions, ginger, egg white and 1 teaspoon cornmeal in a blender to form an even paste.
- Brush the toast with the shrimp paste and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Now let the toast simmer briefly in the sauce. The sauce should be about a finger high in the pan.
