Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 150 g flour
  • 24 almonds
  • 250 g powdered sugar
  • 24 sugar pearls, for the eyes
  • Sugar sprinkles, colorful, for the mouth

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Separate the egg. Knead together the sugar, butter, flour, and egg yolk. Cover and let rest in a cool place for 30 minutes. Roll out the dough, cut out 12 circles with a diameter of approximately 8 cm, and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. From the remaining dough, cut out 12 circles with a diameter of approximately 3 cm. Press the head onto the top of the large circle, ensuring the two upper edges are aligned. Press two almonds into each circle to form the ears. Use sugar sprinkles to create a mouth and place the sugar pearls on top to form the eyes. Bake at 200°C for 8-10 minutes (depending on the oven). Mix the powdered sugar with the egg white and pipe it onto the bottom part of the large circle (the sheep’s belly) and between the ears. Let it dry.
