Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 eggs
- 200 g sugar
- 200 g margarine or butter
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 500 g flour
- 1 dashes lemon juice
- 50 g almond flakes
- possibly chocolate, white, milk or dark chocolate, to taste
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Beat the eggs and sugar until creamy, then add the butter and vanilla sugar. Mix the baking powder with the flour and add it too. Now add a squeeze of lemon juice. Crush the flaked almonds in your hands and add them. Knead into a smooth dough. Either put the dough through a meat grinder or use a piping bag. Pipe swirls, letters, or sticks onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper, if desired. Bake the cookies at 175-180°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for approx. 15-20 minutes until golden brown. If you like, you can also melt some chocolate of your choice in a double boiler or in the microwave and then pour it over half of the cookies.
