Delicious Indian soup from Shoumou himself
Chop the onion and dice the potato and carrot. Heat the butter in a saucepan. Sauté the onion, crushed garlic cloves, ginger, potato, and carrot for about 10 minutes. Stir in the coriander, cumin, and garam Marsala. Now add the red lentils and pour in the vegetable stock and tomato juice. Bring to a boil briefly, then simmer for about 25 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and the remaining spices. Serve with flatbread. If you prefer the soup a little thicker, simply add a little more vegetables.
