Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 cup lentils, red
- 2 m.-sized potatoes
- 2 carrots
- Curry powder, Indian
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Dal soup
Peel the potatoes and carrots thinly, dice them finely, and cook them with the lentils in ½ liter of water for about 20 minutes. Season with Indian curry (e.g., lentil masala, available at health food stores), salt, and pepper.
