Shrimp Mousse
The perfect shrimp mousse recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Cooked shrimp
- 2 St. Shallots chopped
- 2 St. Garlic cloves chopped
- 1 tbsp Chopped coriander
- 1 tbsp Freshly chopped chives
- 0,25 tsp Chilli (cayenne pepper)
- 0,25 tsp Ground turmeric spice
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 30 g Butter
- 2 Pc. Limes
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 tbsp Cream
- 6 disc Toast
- Garlic oil
- Finely chop the prawns. Heat the butter and oil in a saucepan. Sauté shallots, garlic, spices and herbs in it until colorless. Add the prawn meat and heat for 1-2 minutes. Add the cream and lime juice.
- Using a hand blender, puree to a fine mousse, season with salt and pepper. Toast toast, sprinkle or brush with garlic oil, cut into strips and add to dip.
