Shrimp Mousse

The perfect shrimp mousse recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Cooked shrimp
  • 2 St. Shallots chopped
  • 2 St. Garlic cloves chopped
  • 1 tbsp Chopped coriander
  • 1 tbsp Freshly chopped chives
  • 0,25 tsp Chilli (cayenne pepper)
  • 0,25 tsp Ground turmeric spice
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 30 g Butter
  • 2 Pc. Limes
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Cream
  • 6 disc Toast
  • Garlic oil
  1. Finely chop the prawns. Heat the butter and oil in a saucepan. Sauté shallots, garlic, spices and herbs in it until colorless. Add the prawn meat and heat for 1-2 minutes. Add the cream and lime juice.
  1. Using a hand blender, puree to a fine mousse, season with salt and pepper. Toast toast, sprinkle or brush with garlic oil, cut into strips and add to dip.
