Side Dish: Spinach Spaetzle
The perfect side dish: spinach spaetzle recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 200 g Wholemeal spelled flour
- 2 Pc. Eggs
- 100 g Spinach or kale
- 40 ml Water
- 1 Msp Salt
- 1 Msp Nutmeg
- Chop the spinach or kale for 10 seconds on speed 6. Add the remaining ingredients and work into a dough on the kneading stage for 5 minutes. Let the dough rest briefly. In the meantime, bring a large saucepan of water to a boil. Add a little salt. Press the dough into the boiling water using a spaetzle slicer. When the spaetzle rise, strain with a slotted spoon and remove.
- If you want, put a dash of oil under the finished spaetzle so that they don’t stick together.
