Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 150 g breadcrumbs
  • some salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Remove the cauliflower leaves and cut the cabbage into individual florets. Boil these in water for a few minutes until tender. Test with a fork. Strain the water and then mash the still-warm cauliflower. Season generously with salt and pepper. Add the breadcrumbs and egg and mix well. Add more breadcrumbs if necessary to form a firm mixture. Using a spoon, place small heaps of the mixture into a hot pan with a little oil and press them into flat patties. Alternatively, shape the patties beforehand. Serve with vegetables, if desired. Tip: If you don’t prefer vegetarian options, you can also add pieces of ham to the mixture.
