Fried pointed peppers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g bell pepper(s) (green pointed peppers)
  • 3 tbsp oil (safflower oil)
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 1 tbsp marjoram or oregano, freshly chopped
  • Sea salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the peppers, cut them open, and remove the seeds. Heat oil in a pan and fry the peppers. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sea salt over them and pour in the white wine. Continue frying until the wine has reduced and the peppers are cooked but still firm to the bite. Dice the feta cheese and fry with the peppers for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle everything with herbs, season with pepper, and serve lukewarm with white bread. Tip: If you like, you can also press in garlic, chili flakes, or parsley.
