Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g pasta, green
- 2 balls of mozzarella
- 200 g cooked ham
- 1 cup of cream
- 1 egg yolk
- 40 g Parmesan or other hard cheese
- salt and pepper
- oregano
- butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Cook the pasta according to the package instructions and drain. Preheat the oven to 200°C. In the meantime, cut the ham into 1 x 1 cm pieces. Mix the cream with the egg yolk and the hard cheese, season with spices and set aside. Grease a suitable ovenproof dish with butter and then cover with a portion of the pasta. Place a portion of the ham and mozzarella on top of the pasta. Then add another layer of pasta, followed by another layer of ham and mozzarella. The last layer should be pasta. Now pour the sauce over the pasta. Finally, scatter a few knobs of butter over the casserole. The casserole needs about 20-30 minutes in the oven.
