Small Kefir Bread
The perfect small kefir bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 175 g Spelled flour type 630
- 100 g Rye flour
- 10 g Salt
- 1 P Dry yeast
- 125 ml Kefir
- 100 ml Warm water
- 100 ml Extra water
- Mix both types of flour with salt and yeast. Then knead with kefir and water at medium speed for at least 15 minutes! Then shape a ball and flour it in. Cover and let rise for 1 hour. In the meantime, knead the dough 2/3 times and cover again!
Preheat oven to top / bottom heat to 230 ° degrees!
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, shape the dough into a loaf, flour and cut into it with a sharp knife! Let the loaf rise again for about 20 minutes! Drizzle some water around the loaf. (approx. 3tbsp)
- Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes! The bread is done if you knock on the bottom of the bread and it sounds hollow!
