Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 150 g herb curd
  • 8 tbsp olive oil or pizza oil
  • 8 tbsp water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 75 g Parmesan, grated
  • 75 g ham, finely sliced
  • Cheese, vegetables or sausage as desired for topping

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat oven to 180°C (fan assisted). For the dough: Mix all ingredients together and knead with a dough hook until smooth. Form the dough into small balls (about the size of a ping-pong ball) and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Caution: Keep your distance, as the balls will expand. Bake the balls for about 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Once cooled, cut the balls in half with a sharp knife and top with cheese, cream cheese, sausage, or vegetables as desired. Secured with toothpicks, the balls make a great finger food.
