Smoked trout with apple and horseradish sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 apple, sour
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice, preferably fresh
  • 50 g horseradish
  • 1 box of garden cress
  • 50 g cream, sweet
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 1 tbsp liquid honey
  • 3 smoked trout fillets
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash, peel, quarter, and core the apple. Grate the apple and immediately mix in the lemon juice. Peel and finely grate the horseradish. Chop the cress. Mix the cream with the honey. Stir in the apple, horseradish, and cress. Season the sauce with salt. Divide the fish fillets among glasses. Pour the sauce over the fish and garnish with some cress.
