Smokey's beans with chickpeas and cheese sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g beans, green, possibly frozen
  • 250 g chickpeas, cooked, possibly from the jar
  • 8 half tomatoes, dried, pickled
  • 150 g cream cheese (pepper cream cheese)
  • 100 ml cream
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tsp oil
  • some oregano, dried
  • n. B. Pepper from the mill
  • n. B. Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cut the green beans into approximately 4 cm long pieces and boil in salted water for about 10 minutes. Drain and set aside. Slice the tomatoes. Sauté the garlic in hot oil until translucent. Add the cream, reduce the heat to low, and dissolve the cream cheese in it. Do not let it boil. Add the beans, tomatoes, and chickpeas and let them simmer in the sauce until warm. Sprinkle with the oregano and season with salt and pepper.
