Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 tbsp Tomato paste, commercially available
  • 1 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 2 garlic cloves, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp smoked salt
  • 2 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tbsp honey, liquid
  • 2 tsp balsamic vinegar, not too sweet
  • 1 tbsp fried onions
  • 2 tbsp tomatoes, pureed, if necessary

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Spicy sauce with a fruity main note and a smoky finish

Add the ingredients one at a time to a small bowl, mix, and season to taste. Cover with cling film and let stand for about 1-2 hours before serving.
