Delicious with cappuccino

Tastes similar to the cookies you get with your cappuccino at a café. Made with ingredients you pretty much always have on hand. Preheat oven to 200°C top/bottom heat (180°C fan-assisted). Cream butter or margarine with the sugar until light and fluffy. Mix flour and cornstarch, sift, and fold in. Add a little water so the dough doesn’t become too crumbly. Shape dough into small balls and place on a baking tray, flattening slightly. Bake for about 10 minutes. Variation: Spread 2-3 times the amount of dough onto the greased baking tray, cut into strips (about 2×4 cm), bake, and cut into strips again. A little cinnamon even gives these cookies a Christmassy feel and makes them perfect for a colorful Christmas Eve dinner table. They’re also great for family celebrations alongside cakes and the like.
