Soaked Cake

The perfect soaked cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 Eggs
  • 220 g Powdered sugar
  • 150 g Flour handy
  • Some baking soda
  • Drizzle:
  • 250 ml Strong coffee, cold
  • 1 Stamperl Rum
  • Cream:
  • 70 g Rama, soft
  • 70 g Powdered sugar
  • 1 rib Cooking chocolate softened
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 1 cups Whipped cream
  1. Separate eggs. Mix egg yolks with icing sugar until frothy. Fold in the flour mixed with baking powder. Beat in the egg to stiff snow. Pour the mixture into a greased, floured springform pan (26 cm) and bake at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes. Poke holes in the cooled ground with a thick knitting needle. Mix the coffee with the rum and drizzle the bottom with it. For the creme, mix the rama, powdered sugar, chocolate and egg yolks together well. Brush the soaked floor with it. Whip the whipped cream until stiff and spread it on top. Finally rub the cooking chocolate over it.
