Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g meat, sausage (grilled meat, sausage, cold cuts, roast, or much more….)
- 1 jar of lecho
- 1 onion(s)
- 4 gherkins, to taste
- 1 clove(s) garlic, chopped
- Salt and pepper, allspice, caraway, sweet paprika, bay leaf (1 chopped leaf)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar (balsamic vinegar or herbs)
- Lemon(s), to taste
- Herbs (chervil, parsley, marjoram)
- Tomato(s), peppers, smoked bacon and other leftovers
- Tabasco
- sour cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Dice the leftover meat and sausage, finely chop the onion and garlic, and dice the cucumber. Lightly fry the leftover meat and sausage in oil, add the onion and garlic, and fry briefly. Add the sugar, deglaze with vinegar, and add the lecsó and 700ml water. Season and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the cucumber and bring to a boil. Just before serving, add the herbs. Serve on a plate or bowl with a spoonful of crème fraîche, sour cream, or sour cream.
