Spaetzle with Mushrooms & Cheese

- 750 g Spaetzle
- 600 g Creme fraiche Cheese
- 3 Onions
- 1000 g Mushrooms
- 400 g Grated cheese
- Nutmeg, salt, pepper, paprika
- Parsley chopped TK
- Oil
- Cook the spaetzle in salted water according to the instructions on the packet. After cooking, pour into a bowl and put some butter on it so that they don’t stick together.
- Peel the onions and cut into rings. Clean the mushrooms and cut them in slices. Heat some oil in a pan and sauté the onions until translucent.
- Now add the mushrooms to the onions and simmer for 5 minutes, season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and paprika and let simmer for a few more minutes while stirring.
- Add the cheese, stir in, finally fold in the spaetzle and simmer for another 5-10 minutes.
- Finally, sprinkle some chopped parsley over the top. Makes about 8 servings.
