Spaghetti Carbonara with a difference

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 4 tbsp cream cheese spread
  • 100 g ham
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly parsley
  • possibly flour for binding
  • Parmesan for sprinkling
  • 400g spaghetti
  • salt water

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, chop the onion and fry in a little oil, finely chop the ham and add it. Pour in the heavy cream, add the cream cheese, and simmer on low heat, stirring frequently to prevent sticking. Press in the garlic, season with salt and pepper, and add a sprig of parsley, if desired. If the sauce is too runny, you can thicken it with a little flour, but it should work just fine! Drain the pasta and serve with the sauce, then grate the Parmesan cheese over it.
