Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 250g spaghetti
- 1 pumpkin(s), yellow
- 200 g shrimp(s), deveined
- 2 cloves garlic
- 250 ml cream
- 1 small red chili pepper(s)
- Salt
- pepper
- Cayenne pepper
- curry
- 2 tbsp oil, for frying
- basil leaves
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Dice the garlic cloves and chili pepper. Finely slice the basil. Peel the pumpkin, then use a vegetable peeler to finely peel the pumpkin flesh. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Heat the oil in a pan. Sauté the garlic, chili, and shrimp in the pan until crispy. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and curry powder. Remove from the pan after 3-4 minutes and set aside. In the same pan, sauté the pumpkin strips and season with the spices listed. After about 5 minutes, add the cream to the vegetables, simmer briefly, and season to taste. When the sauce is desired, add the shrimp and heat until hot. Mix the pasta with the sauce and basil and enjoy immediately.
