Spaghetti with ham and cheese sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 6 slice(s) ham, cooked
  • 1 jar mushrooms
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tsp flour
  • 1 cup of cream
  • Processed cheese with herbs, 1 wedge (more if needed)
  • ¼ liter broth, hot
  • possibly white wine if required
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • basil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel the onion and finely dice. Chop the ham and mushrooms. Heat a little olive oil in a pan and sauté the onions. Add the ham and mushrooms and dust everything with flour. Gradually add the stock, cream, and processed cheese and cook until the cheese has melted. Add a little more stock or white wine if the sauce becomes too thick. Season the sauce with oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. (Be careful with the salt and pepper—the stock and herb cheese already season the sauce quite well.) Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions. Plate and serve.
