Spaghetti with Hot Orange and Basil Sauce
The perfect spaghetti with hot orange and basil sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 120 g Spaghetti
- 250 g Oat cream
- 1 Hot peppers
- 1 Garlic clove chopped
- 1 Sprig of basil
- 0,5 Orange
- 0,5 Yellow peppers
- 2 Shallots
- Orange pepper salt from my KB
- 2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Date tomato
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
- Roast the basil in a non-stick frying pan until the leaves begin to curl.
- Dice the shallots, cut the bell peppers into strips and cut the peppers into rings.
- Steam the shallots in the pan until translucent.
- Add the bell peppers, hot peppers and garlic. Steam for 2 minutes.
- Add the squeezed juice of half an orange, the basil and the cream. Let simmer for 5 minutes. Add two tablespoons of olive oil and season with orange pepper salt.
- Put the pasta on a plate. Add the sauce. Serve with a sliced date tomato and some basil leaves.
