Spaghetti with mushroom and tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 400 g mushrooms
  • 1 ½ small onions
  • n. B. Oil
  • 12 tomatoes, dried
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • n. B. red wine
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 1 shot of water
  • Thyme
  • oregano
  • Paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. tomato paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook spaghetti according to the package instructions. Peel and dice the onions. Dice the sun-dried tomatoes into small pieces. Clean and slice the mushrooms. Sauté the onions in a pan with oil. Just before the onions are translucent, add the tomato paste and fry briefly. Add the sun-dried tomatoes and mushrooms and fry briefly. Deglaze with red wine. Allow the wine to simmer briefly, then add the cream and a splash of water. Cook for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, add the thyme, oregano, and paprika. If you like, you can also add a little more tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper. Serve over the finished spaghetti.
