Tortellini Mushrooms

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • some margarine or oil for frying
  • 250 g mushrooms, brown
  • 1 can of chopped tomatoes (400 g)
  • Salt and pepper, white
  • 1 tsp, chopped oregano, shredded
  • 1 tsp, chopped basil, shredded
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • possibly honey
  • 250 g tortellini with mushroom and porcini filling from the refrigerated section

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and dice the onion, trim and slice the mushrooms. Heat margarine or oil in a pan and fry the diced onion until they begin to brown. Add the sliced ​​mushrooms and fry for about 5 minutes. Stir in the chopped tomatoes, a pinch of salt and pepper, and the herbs. Simmer gently for about 10 minutes. Don’t forget to stir. Meanwhile, heat the salted water for the tortellini and prepare them according to the package instructions. Stir the tomato paste into the tomato sauce, season to taste, and drizzle with honey if desired. Serve the finished tortellini with or in the sauce.
