Spaghetti with shrimp

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 g cream cheese with herbs (Le Tartar or Bresso)
  • 250 ml sweet cream
  • 2 tsp tomato paste
  • 200 g frozen shrimp
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pack of spaghetti

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Thaw the shrimp and rinse thoroughly with cold water. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Then drain through a sieve. Meanwhile, put the cream cheese in a saucepan and melt over medium heat. Add 2 teaspoons of tomato paste and the cream, then bring to a boil. Season with salt and pepper. Remove the pan from the heat and add the shrimp. Let them warm up in the hot sauce. Plate the spaghetti with the sauce and serve. Serve with Parmesan cheese. Tip: A light alternative would be a mixture of 125 ml cream and 125 ml milk.
