Spaghetti with smoked salmon

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 shallot(s), chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 can of tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 175 g smoked salmon
  • ½ bunch watercress
  • lemon juice
  • 400g spaghetti

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Sauté the chopped shallots and crushed garlic in the butter until translucent. Add the tomatoes and simmer for 5 minutes. Add salt, pepper, and cream, and simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring. Cut the smoked salmon into thin strips and add to the hot sauce along with watercress and a little lemon juice. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti, drain it, and add it to the sauce. Mix well.
