Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g pasta (spaghetti)
  • 2 cups cream cheese with herbs
  • 250 g arugula
  • 250 g ham, cooked
  • Tomato(s), dried, preserved in oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bring the pasta water to a boil with 1 teaspoon of salt and cook the pasta until al dente. Meanwhile, dice the cooked ham and fry it in a pan. Then finely chop the washed and patted dry arugula (into pieces about 5 cm long), and dice the sun-dried tomatoes (as desired). Once the ham is slightly crispy, add the arugula and tomatoes and fry for about 1 minute. Then add two cups of cream cheese with herbs to this mixture and let it melt. To make the sauce a little thinner, add milk until the desired consistency is reached. Then serve the spaghetti with the sauce. Alternatively, you can serve this sauce with baguettes of white bread or use it to top turkey schnitzel.
