Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400g spaghetti
- 2 onions
- 2 tbsp oil
- 300 g minced meat
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 50 ml balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 can of tomatoes, peeled (410 g)
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder
- possibly basil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente, drain, rinse, and let it drain. Peel the onions and dice them. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry while stirring. Add the tomato paste. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika and deglaze with the vinegar. Add the sugar and the tomatoes and their juices and let the sauce reduce. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve the spaghetti with the tomato sauce on plates and garnish with basil, if desired.
