Spaghetti with tomato sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large can of tomatoes, peeled (800 g)
  • salt and pepper
  • 500g spaghetti
  • Parmesan, freshly grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the onion and garlic and chop very finely. Heat olive oil in a large pan, sauté the onion and garlic. Meanwhile, open the can of tomatoes and chop them with a knife. Add the tomatoes and their juice to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for at least 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain the spaghetti in a colander, pour it directly into the hot tomato sauce, and mix everything well. Serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
