Spanish Burger

The perfect spanish burger recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Ground beef
  • 1 Pc. Vegetable onion
  • 1 Pc. Tomato
  • 3 Pc. Snack peppers
  • 1 toe Chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 0,5 tsp Thyme
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 Branches Fresh coriander
  • 8 leaves Arugula
  • 4 Discs Serrano ham
  • 2 Discs Manchego cheese
  • Salt
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 2 Pc. Burger bun
  1. It is best to pre-order the minced beef from the butcher (from the shoulder or neck, once minced. Knead the mince with salt, cayenne pepper, thyme, oregano and smoked paprika and form 2 burger patties.
  2. Cut 2 thick slices of the vegetable onion in half, cut the tomato into 4 slices and lightly salt both and marinate in balsamic vinegar and sherry for 15 minutes. Cut the bell pepper into strips
  3. Briefly fry the paprika and garlic in a pan, add the ham and fry briefly. Add the onions and deglaze with the sherry marinade. Simmer briefly.
  4. Grill the burger patties according to your taste, finally put cheese on top, briefly toast the burger buns. Cover the lower side with rocket and coriander, top the patty and cover with the onion, paprika and ham mixture. Close it and enjoy your meal! If you want, you can add garlic sauce.
