Ingredients

  • 150 g Low fat yogurt
  • 150 ml Lukewarm water
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 1 shot Vinegar
  • 1 shot Oil
  • 350 g Spelt flour
  • 150 g Whole grain rye meal
  • 1 packet Dry yeast
  • 1 sip of Water

Instructions

  • Put the yogurt, water, sugar, salt, vinegar and oil in a bowl. Knead well with flour, grist and dry yeast and cover and let rise for approx. 45 minutes!
  • I had my bread maker do that! You can also bake the bread in it! But when I have time I do it in the oven! Somehow it tastes even better! And of course it looks great!

Preheat oven to 220 degrees!

  • Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Knead the dough well again and shape into a loaf. If you like, scratch or press in a few times with your fingers! And let rise again on the baking sheet for 10 minutes.
  • Pour a dash of water around the bread. Really very little! So full of egg cups! (Gives a super crust and the bread rises nicely!)
  • Then bake the bread for about 30 minutes!
  • THE BREAD IS READY WHEN YOU KNOCK THE BREAD BOTTOM AND IT SOUNDS HOLLOW!
