Spicy barbecue marinade for steaks

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 kg steak(s), not too lean
  • 2 bottles of beer 0.33 l
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 handful of bay leaves
  • 1 handful of mustard seeds
  • 1 handful of allspice, whole grains
  • 2 large onions
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 12 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 12 hours 10 minutes

Finely chop the onions and garlic. Crumble the bay leaves and lightly press the mustard and allspice seeds into the marinade. Pour the beer into a large bowl. Add all the spices, stir well, and then marinate the steaks. Cover tightly and let them marinate in a cool place for 36 hours. You can also marinate sausages, of course. However, they should be cut or pierced beforehand and only marinate for 24 hours. Then pat the steaks or sausages dry and grill.
