Spicy, filled waffles

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter, soft
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 8 tbsp milk
  • 100 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 400 g cream cheese, grainy
  • 100 g peppers, diced, red and green
  • 1 tbsp chives, cut into rolls
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped
  • 80 ml cream, semi-whipped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cream the butter with salt and pepper. Gradually beat in the eggs. Sift the flour and baking powder and fold in. Add the milk and grated Emmental cheese and mix everything into a smooth batter. Now, in a hot waffle iron, bake waffles in batches. Mix the cream cheese with the diced bell pepper and herbs, season with salt and pepper. Stir in the cream. Split the baked waffles and fill each with two waffle segments. Serve immediately.
