Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 chicken, ready to cook and cut up
  • 4 clove(s) garlic, coarsely chopped
  • 3 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes

Combine the ingredients to make a marinade and mix with the chicken. Cover and let it marinate for a few hours, preferably overnight in the refrigerator. Grill in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius, then coat with the remaining marinade halfway through (approx. 45 minutes). Important! Place a juice tray under the grill and line it with aluminum foil, otherwise the washing up will be a mess!
