Spicy Lentil Soup

The perfect spicy lentil soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 bunch Soup vegetables
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 200 g Lentils red
  • 2 liter Vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp Yellow curry paste
  • Salt and pepper
  1. The soup vegetables: Peel the carrots, cut them into slices and then halve again depending on the size. Peel the celery and cut into small pieces. Cut the leek into rings, cut the leek into rings, wash if necessary, coarsely chop the parsley.
  2. Put everything in a saucepan with the butter and simmer for about 5 minutes, fill with the vegetable stock and simmer for about 10 minutes. Add the lentils and simmer for another 10 minutes. Add the curry paste and bring to the boil with salt and Pepper to taste.
  3. Spread the lentil soup on plates and serve sprinkled with the parsley.
