Spicy Nuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g nuts, e.g. almonds, walnuts or cashew nuts
  • ½ egg white, fresh
  • 1 tsp sugar, brown (raw sugar)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • a little cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 37 minutes

Beat the egg whites in a soup bowl. Then add all the other ingredients except the nuts and mix well. Then add the nuts and mix again. Pour the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper, spread evenly, and bake in the center of the oven at 180°C (top and bottom heat) for 10-12 minutes. Then remove from the oven and let cool. Shelf life: Approx. one week. Tip: Use a variety of nuts.
