Spicy Omelette

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp cream or milk
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs of Provence
  • ½ onion(s)
  • ¼ apple
  • 2 large mushrooms
  • 50 g feta cheese
  • Sugar
  • Chili powder or chili flakes
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with apple, onion, mushrooms and cheese

Whisk the eggs with cream or milk and season with salt, pepper, and Provençal herbs. Slice the onion and apple, and the mushrooms. Heat a little oil in a small pan, add the onion and apple, and season generously with sugar and chili. Fry until lightly browned, then add the mushrooms and cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Crumble the feta over the mixture and pour over the egg mixture. Now simply let it set with the lid closed until the omelet is firm. Tip: You can, of course, omit some of the ingredients, but I had everything at home and it tastes absolutely delicious in this combination.
