Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 ml water, lukewarm
- 10 g yeast, fresh or
- ½ bag(s) of yeast (dry yeast)
- Salt
- 250 g flour
- 2 tbsp oil
- Flour, for the baking sheet
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 2 tsp salt, coarse
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Put the water in a bowl and mix with the yeast and 1 teaspoon of salt. Add the flour and knead until it pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 40 minutes. Grease a baking tray with 1 tablespoon of oil and sprinkle with some flour. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Knead the risen yeast dough again, remove it from the bowl and form it into a flatbread with your hands on the tray. Prick the flatbread several times with a fork and brush with the remaining oil. Sprinkle the herbs over it and press them in lightly. Sprinkle the coarse salt over the flatbread and let it rise again, covered, for 20 minutes in a warm place. Bake the flatbread in the oven for 20 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 160°C and bake for another 10 minutes.
