Spicy reindeer roll

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of bread (Tunnbröd), soft Swedish wheat flatbread
  • 12 slice(s) ham (reindeer ham), smoked
  • 2 tbsp mustard (Dijon mustard)
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 2 tbsp dill
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp vinegar (white wine vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • some salt
  • some salad, mixed of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Finger food

Mix the mustard, honey, dill (chopped or dried), sugar, vinegar, and oil thoroughly, and season gently with salt. Spread this mixture on each slice of Tunnbröd, top with three slices of reindeer ham, and arrange the salad on top. Roll each slice tightly lengthwise. Cut into diagonal slices and serve. It makes a great appetizer or finger food and pairs well with the spicy salmon roll (recipe from the database).
