Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 can of sauerkraut (750 g)
- 2 m.-sized apples, preferably Braeburn
- 1 cup of natural yogurt
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- some cayenne pepper
- dill
- salt and pepper
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- olive oil

Squeeze the sauerkraut thoroughly and shred it in a bowl. Peel the onions and apples, finely dice them, and stir them in. Add a little oil and the yogurt and mix everything well. Season with dill and the spices and let it sit for at least an hour. The salad tastes best with a slice of black bread.
