Spicy Schnitzel Casserole
The perfect spicy schnitzel casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
schnitzel
- 2 piece Shell schnitzel
- 1 pinch Salt and pepper

- 1 pole Leek
- 300 g Champion brown
- 1 cups Cream
- 125 g Streaky bacon
- 0,25 liter Vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon Mayoran
- 1 pinch Salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon Spelled flour

- Wash the schnitzel, pound and sear. Season with salt and pepper in the pan, use a casserole dish and put in the fried schnitzel. Fry the bacon in the same pan, then drain on a kitchen towel. Preheat the oven to 150C.
The vegetable
- Clean the leek and cut into coarser rings. Brush off champions and cut into slices. Fry the champions in the bacon pan and dust them well with flour.
- Pour vegetable stock and cream over the champions and bring to the boil while stirring. You can also use milk instead of cream, I do that very often. Is more figure-friendly
- Then add the sliced leek and bacon to the sauce. When everything has thickened a little, put the whole thing in the baking dish over the schnitzel.
- Put a lid or aluminum foil on the baking dish. Off in the oven, middle rail. For about 50 minutes, then remove the lid and bake in the oven for another 15 minutes.
- Remove the schnitzel casserole, serve. We had spaetzle made from spelled flour with it. I always keep several servings frozen. And green salad. Because I always make cheese spaetzle. The casserole was only for my husband. Therefore for 2 people. (Grin)
